I. Processing Technology
1. Raw Material Preparation: 6061/6063 aluminum alloy sheets/profiles are selected (the former has higher strength, the latter is easier to extrude), and cut into blanks.
2. Forming Process
◦ CNC Milling/Machining: The core process, using a three-axis/four-axis CNC machine to mill the outer frame contour, mounting holes, and interface slots to achieve complex structure forming.
◦ Bending/Stamping: For thin sheet shells, a CNC bending machine is used to bend the frame angle, and a stamping machine is used to punch the holes and shape (improving efficiency in mass production).
◦ Extrusion Forming: Profile shells are extruded using aluminum alloy extrusion dies to create the cross-sectional contour, and then cut and further processed to obtain products of a fixed length.
3. Surface Treatment
◦ Anodizing: Achieves customized appearances such as blue, while improving corrosion resistance and wear resistance. Natural color and hard anodizing (enhancing hardness) are available.
◦ Sandblasting/Brushing: Before anodizing, the surface is sandblasted (matte finish) or brushed (textured finish) to enhance the appearance.
◦ Passivation/Coating: Optional passivation treatment enhances rust resistance, or electrostatic powder coating achieves thick coating protection (for outdoor applications).
4. Post-processing: Deburring, cleaning, dimensional inspection, and assembly of auxiliary parts (such as machining rubber sealing ring grooves).
II. Machining Accuracy
1. Dimensional Accuracy:
◦ External dimensional tolerance: ±0.05~0.1mm (CNC machining); Bending/stamping parts ±0.1~0.2mm.
◦ Hole positioning tolerance: ±0.02~0.05mm (mounting holes, screw holes); Groove width tolerance ±0.03mm.
2. Geometric Tolerance:
◦ Flatness: ≤0.1mm/100mm (ensuring screen flatness).
◦ Verticality/Parallelism: ≤0.05mm (frame splicing and assembly accuracy).
◦ Coaxiality: ≤0.03mm (rotary shaft holes and other mating holes).
3. Surface Precision:
◦ Anodized film thickness: 8~12μm (standard), hard anodizing can reach 20~50μm.
◦ Surface roughness: Ra1.6~3.2μm (after sandblasting/brushing), mirror polishing can reach below Ra0.8μm.
III. Industry Applications
1. Consumer Electronics: Screen bezels for tablets, portable displays, and electronic photo frames, utilizing the lightweight and heat dissipation properties of aluminum alloy to meet the portability requirements of consumer products.
2. Industrial Displays: Housings for industrial touch screens and industrial control all-in-one computers, utilizing the impact resistance and electromagnetic shielding properties of aluminum alloy to suit the complex environments of industrial sites.
3. In-vehicle displays: Bezels for in-vehicle central control screens and rear entertainment screens; the temperature resistance and structural strength of 6061 aluminum alloy meet the vibration and temperature requirements of automotive interiors.
4. Medical equipment: Display housings for medical monitors and ultrasound diagnostic instruments; the easy sterilization and corrosion resistance of aluminum alloy meet the hygiene requirements of medical environments.
5. Commercial displays: Screen frames for advertising machines and self-service terminals; the processing flexibility of aluminum alloy allows for customization to meet the needs of commercial display equipment of different sizes.
